Canadian cutie Shawn Mendes is covered with blood and bruises. But, hep hep! Stop fretting fan girls! This is all just a part of his new 'action-packed' music video for Stitches.
Unsurprisingly, with that beaten up face, the singer would really need a lot of stitches.
In his new MV, the 16-year-old is seen being beaten by an unknown force. He was walking alone in an empty parking lot and while attempting to move forward, he kept on getting knocked down. At the end he eventually crashed into a wall and get KO'd.
"Stitches" is a part of Mendes' debut album, Handwritten, which was released last April and easily made it at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. It seems like the "Stitches" will be Mendes' first radio hit as it moved 10 spots up at No. 60 on this week's Hot 100 chart.
The "Life of the Party" soloist will be touring with Taylor Swift this summer for her 1989 stadium tour.
