Amid reports linking Zlatan Ibrahimovic to a move from Paris Saint-Germain to their club, Roma sporting director Walter Sabatini spoke up to deny the rumors.
The former football player stated that signing the 33-year-old striker would be a "foolish investment."
"If Milan want Ibrahimovic, then everything's possible," Sabatini was quoted by Il Giornale. "But if Roma want Ibra, then it's a foolish investment."
Despite a great season in the French side, Ibra's future in Paris was reportedly in doubt. He started playing with PSG in July 2012 and his contract will end in 2016.
During the 2014-15 season, the Swiss helped his squad to clinch a domestic treble including their third consecutive Ligue 1 title. He had netted 19 goals in 24 appearances.
