According to reports, Bayern Munich are eager to use Manchester United's supposed interest in their midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger to sign Angel di Maria.
Di Maria joined the Red Devils from Real Madrid last summer in a deal worth almost £60m, but despite an initial positive start to life at Old Trafford, the Argentinian star struggled with form and fitness, which resulted in him spending the latter part of the season among the substitutes.
Bayern head coach Pep Guardiola, who is said to be keen to add more pace to his squad at the Allianz Arena this summer, is said to be attracted with the situation of Di Maria.
While, United manager Louis van Gaal has made Schweinsteiger one of his major transfer targets and consequently, the Bavarians are open to the prospect of a swap deal, according to Bild.
